SEEK auto-apply tools, compared honestly.

We make one of these, so read accordingly. We have tried to describe the others as their own sites describe them, and to say plainly where they are the better choice. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

The short answer

Four tools seriously serve SEEK in Australia. They split cleanly by form factor, and that turns out to be the decision that matters most.

Beyond that: Shigoto AI is the cheapest at A$15 a month and the only one pairing SEEK with LinkedIn. Karmik is the most feature-complete and the most expensive. AutoApply is not generally available yet. FastApply is the broadest but the least Australian.

Shigoto AI

A Chrome extension covering SEEK Australia, LinkedIn Easy Apply and Indeed Apply. Free for five applications a day with no card; Pro is A$15 a month for one hundred a day, approval mode and exclusion filters. Each application gets a résumé and cover letter tailored to the listing, screening questions are answered from your résumé rather than guessed, and every job is scored for fit before it applies. Each application keeps a receipt of what was sent, with interview prep for that role.

Choose it if you want the lowest-friction option, you apply across SEEK, LinkedIn and Indeed, or you want to try something properly before paying.

Look elsewhere if you would rather run a desktop app than a browser extension, or you want to rehearse out loud with a mock interviewer. Our interview prep gives you likely questions and talking points, not a simulated interview.

Karmik

A desktop app covering SEEK and Indeed, deliberately not LinkedIn. It runs locally, automating your own browser, and stores no job-board credentials. Its distinguishing feature is a receipt for every submission: role, company, timestamp, and the exact résumé and letter that went out. Free for ten applications; Plus is A$24.99 a month and Pro A$34.99.

Choose it if you prefer a desktop app that runs outside Chrome. Its receipts are a genuinely good idea; we have since added our own.

Look elsewhere if you would rather not install a desktop application, you need LinkedIn, or the price is more than the hunt justifies.

AutoApply

An Australian desktop app covering SEEK, Indeed and LinkedIn, built by a solo developer who ran their own job search through it. It scores each role for fit before applying, which is a sound idea. As of this writing it is in early access with a waitlist rather than open signup, and pricing is not published.

Choose it if you can wait for an invitation and like the fit-scoring approach.

Look elsewhere if you are job hunting now. You cannot currently sign up and start.

FastApply

A Chrome extension covering SEEK, LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor, with an Australia-specific page. The broadest board coverage of the four, though it is a global product rather than one built around SEEK's particular forms and question formats.

Choose it if you are applying across several boards including overseas ones.

Look elsewhere if SEEK is where your hunt actually happens and you want a tool shaped around it.

A note on the extensions rated one star

Search the Chrome Web Store for SEEK auto-apply and you will also find a couple of extensions sitting at one star. We are not going to name and criticise them at length, but check the rating and the review count on anything before you connect it to your job search. This is a category where abandoned tools linger.

The question none of us can answer for you

Every tool here carries some residual account risk, because SEEK's terms restrict automated access. Any comparison implying otherwise — including ours, if we did it — would be misleading. We wrote up what that actually means rather than leave it out.

Try the free one first

Five applications a day, ongoing, no card. If it does not earn its keep, you have lost nothing but a click.
