Acceptable Use & Disclaimer
This page sets out how you may use Shigoto AI and the important disclaimers that apply. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. “Shigoto AI”, “we”, and “us” mean Shigoto AI (ABN 27 284 578 634).
1. How the Service operates
Shigoto AI runs inside your own browser, using your own logged-in sessions on supported job boards. It performs actions you have configured — searching, answering questions, writing cover letters, and submitting applications — as you and on your behalf. You are the operator and the applicant. You can stop it at any time, set a daily limit, exclude keywords, and turn on Approval Mode to review each submission before it is sent.
2. You are responsible for what is submitted
You are solely responsible for every application made through the Service and for everything it contains, including all screening answers and any statements made to employers. AI-generated content can be wrong or incomplete — review it. We strongly recommend using Approval Mode until you trust the output.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- provide false, misleading, fraudulent, or fabricated information in any application;
- claim qualifications, rights, licences, or experience you do not have;
- apply on behalf of anyone other than yourself, or impersonate another person;
- defeat, circumvent, or interfere with any website's security, rate-limiting, or bot-detection;
- submit a grossly unreasonable volume of applications, or use the Service to spam, harass, or disrupt any employer or platform;
- scrape, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Service;
- do anything unlawful, or anything that infringes another person's rights.
The Service is designed to answer only from facts in your résumé and not to fabricate. You must keep your résumé accurate and must not use the Service to misrepresent yourself. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section.
4. Third-party platforms and bans — your risk
Job boards such as SEEK, LinkedIn, and Indeed may not permit automated tools. Using Shigoto AI may breach their terms and may result in your account being warned, restricted, suspended, or permanently banned, or your applications being removed.
You accept this risk in full. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shigoto AI is not responsible or liable for anything that any job board, website, employer, or other third party does to you or your accounts — including bans, suspensions, restrictions, lost applications, or lost opportunities — whether or not connected to the Service. It is your responsibility to ensure your use complies with the rules of any site the Service interacts with.
5. No guarantee of results
Shigoto AI is a tool to help you apply faster. It does not guarantee any interview, job offer, response, or other outcome, and is not a recruitment, employment, migration, or career-advice service. Any decision an employer makes is theirs alone.
6. Availability
Job boards change their websites often. The Service may stop working on a particular site, or behave unexpectedly, at any time and without notice. We provide the Service “as is” and do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or compatible with any site at any given moment.
7. Liability
The limitation of liability and indemnity in our Terms of Service apply to your use of the Service. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
